SRH All-Nighter XIV Inline Hockey Tournament
WHEN IS THE SRH ALL-NIGHTER XIV TOURNAMENT?
- Start Time: 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2025
- End Time: 9:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025
Please ensure you are completely available between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM on Saturday, April 5. We will not be able to guarantee specific start times to accommodate individual needs.
The bar will remain open until at least midnight. Stick around afterward for beer, pizza, and an all-around good time.
Why is it called the "All-Nighter"?
While the tournament originally took place in the middle of the night, we now play during the day. However, the name remains!
WHERE IS THE TOURNAMENT?
The SRH All-Nighter XIV Tournament will be held at:
Midwest Sport Hockey in Queeny Park
570 Weidman Road, Ballwin, MO 63011
WHO IS ALLOWED TO PLAY, AND HOW MANY PLAYERS WILL BE TAKEN?
- All skaters and goalies may begin registering immediately.
- There will be 6 teams of 8 skaters and 1 goaltender each.
All players must fill out the skill check questionnaire right before they pay. This allows the captains to draft players appropriately and build 6 fairly balanced teams.
Important: Your spot is not guaranteed until you have both paid and filled out your skill check questionnaire.
HOW WILL TEAMS BE DETERMINED?
You may not register an entire team. All players register individually and will be drafted onto a team.
- Draft Format:
- Jason Miller will appoint 6 captains.
- The remaining 48 players will be drafted in a fantasy auction style draft to fill the rosters.
The auction draft is tentatively scheduled for Thursday evening, April 3, 2025, at Midwest Sport Hockey.
The draft will also be live-posted on Facebook (details on the Facebook event page).
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO REGISTER?
The registration fee for all players (skaters and goalies) is $60.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
- Complete the skill check questionnaire.
- Pay the $60 registration fee.
Payment Options:
- Credit card or PayPal through the website ($62.68 with processing fees).
- Cash or check ($60). Checks should be sent to:

Spots are filled in the order payments and questionnaires are received. If the tournament fills before your payment arrives, you will be added to the waitlist.
WHAT IF I SIGN UP AND REALIZE LATER THAT I CAN'T PLAY?
Cancellations are allowed until March 31, 2025. After this date, refunds are not available for any reason (except documented COVID-19 cases).
WHAT ARE THE TOURNAMENT RULES AND FORMAT?
Officials
- 2 officials per game.
Music
- Played during all stoppages.
Scorekeepers
- Scorekeepers will track goals, assists, and other stats.
- Players must report their goals and assists to the scorer’s table immediately after scoring.
Teams
- 6 teams with 8 skaters and 1 goaltender each.

Game Rules
- Games are two 15-minute periods (running clock).
- Clock stops only in the final minute if the game is tied or within 1 goal.
- Playoff Tie Games: Decided by a 3-man NHL-style shootout.
- Penalties and Ejections: Fighting will result in ejection without refund.
Prizes and Awards
- $100 Cash Prize: Randomly awarded to one player at the conclusion of the tournament. You must be present to win.
- MVP and Most Outstanding Goaltender Awards: Players vote after the tournament.
